About
About CELPIP Practice
Independent CELPIP speaking practice, built by someone who took the test.
Why this exists
CELPIP Practice was built by Kerem, who scored CLB-maximum on the CELPIP: 12 in Listening, 12 in Reading, 12 in Writing, and 11 in Speaking. Speaking was the one section that actually took work, because talking to a computer under a timer feels nothing like any other English test. After helping friends through the same wall, the same gap kept coming up: not enough realistic practice for the speaking section specifically. So we built it.
How we keep it close to the real exam
Our questions are built from 50+ official CELPIP source materials, so the format, timing, and difficulty match what you see on test day. Our AI scoring is calibrated against official level descriptors and sample responses, with input from CELPIP tutors, and back-tested against real official CELPIP samples to keep band accuracy honest. When the AI is uncertain or a band is borderline, we would rather tell you than pretend to be precise.
What you get
You can practice all 8 CELPIP speaking tasks and full mock exams free. Create a free account to record your answers, replay every recording, and get examiner-grade AI feedback on the four official rubric dimensions, with free welcome credits to start. We also publish researched, practical guides on the blog.
Independence and honesty
We are an independent tool built to supplement, not replace, official CELPIP preparation. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to Paragon Testing Enterprises or any official CELPIP body. For official materials, always check celpip.ca or work with a qualified CELPIP instructor. AI feedback is a study aid, not an official score, so take it as a guide, not a guarantee.
