StartWhy drill
Why drill a single CELPIP Reading part
Full mock exams are great for pacing all 38 questions in one sitting, but they spread your attention across every part at once. Part-by-part drills are the opposite: focused, short, and scored the moment you finish.
- 1
Fix the weakest part
If Part 3 information-matching is where you lose marks, drilling it on its own beats sitting another full 38-question mock. Stay on one part until the pattern clicks.
- 2
Shorter sessions
One part is a handful of questions with an instant score, not a 55-minute reading section. Easy to slot into a coffee break, a commute, or before bed.
- 3
Pattern recognition
Each CELPIP Reading part has its own trap: skim vs close read, matching vs completing a reply. Drilling a part makes its question style obvious so you stop second-guessing on test day.
How it works
How reading drills work
- 1
Pick a part
Parts 1–4 each target a different reading skill, from correspondence to viewpoints. Start with the one you keep struggling with.
- 2
Choose a set
Every part has three sets to work through, each drawn from a different full reading test. Tap one to start it in the real exam format.
- 3
Read and get scored
Answer under real CELPIP conditions, then get an instant auto-score with your estimated level the moment you finish. Redo any set as many times as you like.
FAQ
Reading practice, answered
Should I drill parts or take full mocks?
Both, in different phases. Early on, drill Parts 1–4 separately to learn each question style and where marks come from. Closer to test day, take a full reading mock so you practise pacing all 38 questions in one sitting.
Are these real CELPIP reading passages?
No. We don't redistribute official Paragon passages. Every set here is original, written to match the official CELPIP Reading patterns for each part. The format, question types, and timing mirror the real exam.
How is each part scored?
Automatically, the moment you finish. Because reading answers are objective, you get an instant result with the number correct and an estimated CELPIP level for that part, no waiting and no credits needed.
Will my progress save?
Sign in and your reading results save to your account, so they follow you across devices. You can read every passage and run the first drill of each part without an account; the rest need a free account.
